Amazon’s original pitch for television rights to JRR
Synopsis
The epic drama takes place thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and 'The Lord of the Rings' follows an ensemble of both familiar and new characters as they face the long-feared emergence of evil in Middle-earth. Admittedly, I have high expectations for The Lord of the Rings, which is close to perfection in terms of time and fiction. Since they have a considerable budget and scope, I gave my point by watching the first episode right away. Although it is the first part, I can say that I liked the first part very much.
